Session Reports

Every guided task and coaching session generates a session report when it ends. The report is produced automatically — no data entry required. It captures how the session went, not just that it happened.

What a Session Report Contains

A session report has three parts.

Performance Snapshot

The performance snapshot shows the final reading of the metrics tracked live during the session. What is tracked depends on how the task or coaching session is configured — common examples include pace, accuracy, step completion rate, technique consistency, or focus. Each metric appears as a formatted number or percentage alongside its label.

This snapshot reflects the full session from start to finish — not just the last few minutes.

Coach's Notes

The coach's notes section contains a written summary produced by the AI at session end. It covers:

  • What went well during the session
  • Specific areas to improve
  • Any notable patterns observed across the session

This is written in plain language and does not require any interpretation. Workers can read it immediately after the session; managers can use it for follow-up coaching conversations.

Scores

The scores section shows rated dimensions relevant to the task or coaching configuration. Each score includes:

  • The name of the dimension being rated
  • A numerical score or percentage
  • A brief rationale explaining why that rating was given

Scores are configured per task — a field inspection task might score thoroughness and sequence adherence, while a coaching session might score technique, posture, and pace. The rationale for each score gives enough context to act on without requiring a full replay of the session.

Where to Find Session Reports

After your own session (worker view)

The session report appears immediately on screen when your session ends — before you leave the session view. No navigation required.

In the console (manager / admin view)

Administrators and managers can review session reports for any completed run:

  1. Open the Bourne AI console.
  2. Navigate to the Guided Tasks or Agents section, depending on your account configuration.
  3. Select the completed run from the list.
  4. The session report appears in the results panel.

Reports are available immediately after the session ends and remain accessible for future reference. You do not need to be present for the live session to review the report later.

Incomplete Sessions

If a worker abandons a session before completing all steps, the session is marked incomplete. A partial report may still be generated, depending on how far through the session the worker progressed. Incomplete sessions are visible in the console and labeled accordingly.

Acting on Session Reports

Session reports are most useful when reviewed as part of a regular rhythm — not just after individual sessions. Patterns across multiple reports show where a worker is consistently strong and where targeted coaching or retraining would have the most impact.

Some ways teams use session reports:

  • Spot-check quality — review a sample of reports from the day's sessions to confirm procedures were followed correctly
  • Track improvement — compare scores from week to week to see whether coaching interventions are working
  • Identify training gaps — look for low scores that appear repeatedly across workers or shifts, which may signal a gap in training materials rather than individual performance
